  • Gather tools : Scraper, Grill Brick, Paper Towels, Water n Oil.
  • Scrape down the grill getting off as much rust as you can.
  • Squirt down oil and scrub it with a the grill brick. You want to get it as smooth as possible and try to remove all uneven spots
    • Any oil will do.
    • 1 tablespoon for 2 burner griddles.
    • 2 tablespoons for 4 burner griddles.
  • Scrape up all the dirty oil, then use paper towels and water to wipe it clean. This will take a lot of paper towel and water. Just keep wiping it down.
  • Turn griddle to Medium-High and begin seasoning.
  • Apply oil to hot griddle and spread as thin as possible with paper towels. You want the oil to be thin so it can burn off.
    • Any oil will do
    • 1 tablespoon for 2 burner griddles.
    • 2 tablespoons for 4 burner griddles.
  • Wait about 15-20 minutes until oil burns off. It will be all off when it stops smoking.
  • Repeat oil process two more time and burn off each time.
  • Make some Smash Burgers and Keep on Griddln’ !

  1. Hi Johnny, I bought your e-book, however, I messed up getting it some how. I guess it’s because I’m 86 years old and not very good with a computer. Is there a way to get it again?
