Cheesey Shredded Hash Browns
If you’re looking for an easy way to take your shredded hash browns to the next level, this recipe is for you. Crispy, cheesy, and packed with flavor, these hash browns are perfect for breakfast or as a side dish for any meal.
Servings: 8
Equipment
- 1 Spatula
Ingredients
- 1 20-ounce package Simply Potatoes shredded hash browns
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 eggs whisked
- ¼ cup fresh green onions chopped (about 4 green onions)
- ½ tablespoon seasoned salt
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- ½ teaspoon pepper
- Oil for cooking
Instructions
- Set your griddle to 350-375°F and drizzle a little oil over the surface.
- In a large bowl, combine the shredded hash browns, cheddar cheese, whisked eggs, chopped green onions, seasoned salt, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and pepper. Mix well until everything is evenly combined.
- Using an ice cream scoop or large spoon, scoop out portions of the hash brown mixture and place them onto the hot griddle.
- Let the hash browns cook undisturbed for about 7-8 minutes, or until the bottoms are golden brown and crispy. Flip them carefully and cook for another 7-8 minutes until both sides are crispy and cooked through.
- Remove from the griddle and serve immediately. These hash browns are perfect for breakfast, but they also make a great side dish for any meal.
